Making up for several days of absence...
'lo, all! Ah, what's it be, five days since I've been here last? Time to catch up...

Meme first:

Chinese Zodiac Meme (snagged from lilyoftheval5)
1. Copy-paste the traits for all the twelve zodiac.
2. Pick your zodiac, based on year of birth.
3. Bold the traits that apply to you.
4. Strike-out those that don't apply to you at all.
5. Leave the ones that partially apply to you.

Weeell, according to this I'm the ram, but since I was born in January, another site says I'm actually the horse... so. Anyway, I did both.

Bold is yes,
normal is kinda-sorta,
and strikeut is heck no.

Horse: Cheerful, popular, quick-witted, changeable, earthy (earthy? No, seriously, what does that mean?), perceptive, talkative, agile mentally and physically (I'm no klutz, but physically agile? Not so much), magnetic, intelligent (if I do say so myself), astute, flexible, open-minded, can be fickle, anxious, rude, gullible (maybe not gullible so much as... naive?), stubborn, lacks stability and perseverance.

Ram: Righteous, sincere, sympathetic, mild-mannered, shy, artistic, creative, gentle, compassionate, understanding, mothering, determined, peaceful, generous, seeks security. Can be moody, indecisive, over-passive, worrier, pessimistic, over-sensitive, complainer.

And I LOVE what this other website said about the horse, which I supposedly really am - just listen to this:

Horses crave love and intimacy, which is a double-edged sword since it often leads them to feel trapped. Love connections tend to come easily to Horses, since they exude the kind of raw sex appeal that is a magnet to others. This Sign tends to come on very strong in the beginning of the relationship, having an almost innate sense of romance and seduction. Horses are seducers in general; check out any A-list party and you're bound to find the Horse in attendance. This Sign possesses a sharp wit and a scintillating presence; it really knows how to work a crowd. Surprisingly, Horses tend to feel a bit inferior to their peers, a misconception that causes them to drift from group to group out of an irrational fear of being exposed as a fraud.

Ahahaha! I actually laughed aloud at that. Raw sex appeal? Yeah, that's me, just bursting with sexiness. *grin* When I put my mind to  it, I seduce people right out of their pants!

*giggles* I'm having way to much fun with this...

So. I've been having these darn plot bunnies attack me... and had a conversation with meridith_smith about it...

I told her about this AU bunny where everyone is a cat. Like, Rodney would be a white, slightly fat housecat; Elizabeth would so be his neighbor; Sheppard would be a stray city cat; and Ronon would be a feral forest cat. And then Teyla could be leader of a pack, the Athos Clan, and the wraith could be an evil group of city cats who are cannibals! Wouldn't it be cool?

I'm telling this to Meridith and you know what she says? "omg, can you imagine a little cat!John, walking on hind legs, with spikey fur, carrying around his P-90? And flying a jumper! And then cat!Rodney, typing on his laptop! That would be sooo cute!"

Me: o_O ARE YOU INSANE, WOMAN?!? THAT'S JUST DISTURBING!!! (plus, you missed my point... they're normal cats, not cutouts from the Brian Jacques Redwall series...)

Yeah. Anyway, another one that's been hounding me is this raging-hormone-released-on-Atlantis one.... heh, yes, that kind. Because I read just recently that when women are ovulating, they release some kind of scent hormone that makes their boyfriends/husbands more protective, loving, attentive, and jealous of other males. (Which made me go aawwww, so cute, but anyway...) So I was thinking... what if something happened on Atlantis, making the hormone a million times more potent, triggering stronger reactions in the men? It would be really, really interesting... *steeples fingers* *cackles*

And that's... pretty much it. Oh, wait!

After watching Trio, I have decided.... Rodney/Keller rules! No, seriously. She was so nice to him! They flirted! There was CHEMISTRY! And it doesn't squick me out like Ronon/Keller!

Seriously, it's a cause for celebration, people! I've never really paired up Rodney because, well, there's nobody to pair him with (well, except Elizabeth, but she's with Sheppard, and I never really liked Katie Brown, and while Cadman/Rodney was interesting, I couldn't really see it beyond a snarky friendship...) but now there is! I don't know why I didn't see it before...

Oh, and I've also decided? That I like Keller. She ain't half bad. *hugs Keller*

I would totally read a Cat AU by you. But make them like Cat!John in Cat Ears and Fangs. That'd be weirder and hotter and they could have kinky tail sex.

Why yes, fandom has corrupted me. XD

This is GENUIS, I tell you. I second that motion! \o/ It would be awesome. (alternate0go -- you think you're fooling us, but you know you want to. Wriiiiite iiiit. Write the kinky half-animal tail!sex immediately. *pause* You know, that doesn't sound as nearly as weird in my head....)

*drive by icon love* Hey, comanche_rider -- I have to say, I have an enormous amount of love for your icon. :D

YES. COME TO THE DARK SIDE. \o/

And, dude, everyone needs a Hannibal icon. ^^

HEE. Okay, I have this totally inappropriate joke on my mind now. *bites tongue* Must... resist...

Me: o_O ARE YOU INSANE, WOMAN?!? THAT'S JUST DISTURBING!!!

BUT, BUT BUT THE CUTENESS!!! *agasht* IT WOULD BE SO FUNNY. ADMIT IT. AS FOR THE INSANITY, THAT IS... QUITE POSSIBLE.

Omg, do you have a link to the site that told you about your 'raw sexual appeal'? I can't wait to see what it says about me, lol. And you, I need to beware of you! All this stuff about 'working the crowd' and seducing people is worrisome...and what A-list parties have you been attending lately? Spill! ;)

And...I need to sort out an intervention for you...liking Keller? *clutches head* Although, omg, Rodney/Keller, two immature, panicky neurotic geniuses in a relationship? HEE! The potential for disaster is amazing, I love it! You're right, so less squicky than Ronon and her!

Uh, the cat!versions of SGA? And the R-rated conversation on this page about tails and...stuff? I am disturbed. If I have nightmares, I'm so blaming you. XP The original idea was cool [crack!fic...*hints*] but yeesh, what it devolved into! Lol...
alternate0ego: shep holding lizalternate0ego on March 5th, 2008 09:48 pm (UTC)
Hee, here you go. ^_^ Enjoy!

It's not what it looks like! I only... sort of like Keller. I mean, she was sooo nice to Rodney in "Trio," how could I resist? Rodney/Keller = cute beyond belief! And way less gross than Ronon/Keller... :P

Hey, don't blame me! comanche_rider was the one who suggested things of the R-rated nature! *shudders* She has a dark, scary mind, I tell you... ;)
borg_princess: Shep funnyborg_princess on March 6th, 2008 01:27 pm (UTC)
Oookay. According to the zodiac, under the Dragon [RAWWRRR], I need to balance my quest for success and learn to enjoy the little things. Um. I think my parents would agree I have ZERO ambition, and that my obsession with 'little things' like tv is wrecking my focus on important things like studying! How wrong can this thing BE? [I will concede the bit about being a bad loser, though...]

Hmm, okay, I'm liking where you're at with Keller a bit more. You're not necessarily in love with her, the way 'normal' people are with Shep and Lizzeh, but she bothers you less...you're not a fully fledged obsessive Rodney/Keller shipper, it's just less icky than Ronon/Keller...qualifiers are good, I get that! And it's good for you if she's not as irritating to you anymore, since you're still keeping up with the show. Though if she converts you in s5, my worldview will be shattered, lol.

*steers mind away from tails altogether* Regardless of who suggested it...just...my mind needs scrubbing. BADLY. ;)
alternate0egoalternate0ego on March 7th, 2008 06:44 am (UTC)
Yay, dragon! RAWR. And me, the horse. Neigh.
...
That just doesn't have the same ring to it, does it?

Even if I do start really liking Keller, it won't matter, because S5 is going to suck so bad with Woolsey in charge. Ugh. *shudders* It makes me almost want Carter back... but not quite.

And here's some brainsoap for the tail ickyness. ^_^

*chuckles* Nope. *iz smug* I think the zodiac is to blame for my evilness. I realized I was simply THE BEST AND MOST AWESOME when I found out I was the Dragon, which means I totally rule over every other creature- pig? Pfft. Rat? Don't make me laugh. /delusions of grandeur

Wow, Woolsey makes you almost!yearn for Carter? Wow. It bears repeating.

Oh, brainsoap! Relief! *scrubs*
